Trek 500 is a 537-mile fundraising challenge taking on Britain’s toughest long-distance route: the Scottish National Trail. Starting in Kirk Yetholm and finishing at Cape Wrath, Campbell Roy will walk 43 stages across some of Scotland’s most spectacular and demanding landscapes, from July to September 2026.
He’s not doing this for the miles. He’s doing it for the 1 in 8 men who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, and for the thousands in Scotland where late-stage detection rates are among the worst in the UK.
Trek 500 is a campaign to raise awareness, fund life-saving research, and show every man affected by prostate cancer that they are not walking alone.
Every pound you give funds vital prostate cancer research, from laboratory equipment to pioneering clinical trials.
You don’t need to be an experienced hiker. Pick a stage, bring good boots and a good spirit, and walk alongside Campbell.
